Cover illustration of turn-of-century lady surrounded by rose vine is scratched. Green cloth cover is in rough condition, with large water stain on back, fraying on spine ends, hinges and edges. All corners bumped. Thick, glossy pages are unnumbered, in good condition except for some spots of soil. Pink decorations on all pages; some have faded. Frontispiece and 18 other plates by Christy. A well-loved book, obviously many times read. Ex-owner's inscription on second page. Price: 25.00 USD
